Posted below is a link for Catholic Charities services in MI. I think the nearest one for your brother is Kalamazoo which has counseling and referral services for kids in crises. I do believe that if your brother called and spoke with a counselor that they may be able to refer him to resources to protect his child. They may even have a legal council on staff at Diocese level to offer advice and or services. Next is a program of advocacy for the child relating to courts. Hopefully he will be able to get free help or referrals from these agencies.
